Palmer’s collaborates with Tree-Nation

Following the announcement of its partnership with global reforestation platform Tree-Nation in 2022, skincare brand Palmer’s has pledged to plant an additional 20,000 trees as part of the #Showyourplanetlove campaign.

For every Palmer’s product purchased, a tree with be planted in the Palmer’s Forest in Cameroon. Customers can then follow the progress of their tree through an online portal to show when the tree is planted and its subsequent growth.

This action will offset approximately 20,000 tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to the production of 115 million 250ml Palmer’s bottles of lotion or over 12,0000 flights from London to New York City.

Zahira Beddou, Marketing Director at Palmer’s, says: “We not only work closely with our supply chain but also with many amazing non-profit organisations that improve ecological and economic conditions for the areas where these ingredients are sourced from and the farmers that harvest them.[…] Palmer’s believe this partnership signifies an elevated level of commitment to the planet and our work with Tree-Nation, a leader in reforestation endeavours, aligns seamlessly with Palmer’s values, creating an alliance for positive change.”

The #Showyourplanetlove initiative will also be supported by instore, on-pack and digital marketing campaigns which will appear across various social media platforms. The campaign ties in the brand's recent #ShowYourselfLove initiative, hoping to encourage consumers to also show the planet some love.
