New app aims to revolutionise make-up application

Wow How is an innovative new mobile application that is aiming to revolutionise the way women learn to apply make-up.

Wow How empowers users to make the most of their face shape, skin tone and individual features by providing a step-by-step guide to creating looks tailored perfectly to them.

The app gives features a bespoke virtual make-up artist, Gracie, who offers four types of tutorials: 16 natural every-day looks, 28 evening/smokey looks, 18 bridal looks and contouring. For each one, Gracie provides an in-depth guided make-over and expert application tips.

Within each tutorial, users can choose from a range of looks with different colour combinations to suit their skin tone and create their own personal look book for every occasion. Wow How uses the latest augmented reality and mobile technology to allow users to create a personalised mannequin which takes into account their own facial features, from skin tone to eyebrow shape, lip fullness and face shape.

By using WOW HOW, users will be able to ‘try on’ looks, learn specialised application skills based on their own facial features, and put their application into practice by following personalised animated turtorials.

A split screen facility called ‘Look & Learn’ opens the users phone or tablet camera within the app where it acts as a mirror, allowing them to apply make-up while simultaneously watching the tutorial in real-time.

Wow How is available now to download free from the app store and is coming soon to Android.
