The Perfume Shop unveils concept store

The Perfume Shop has opened its first experiential concept store in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre, desiged to offer customers a creative and innovative experience, unparalleled expertise and the retailer’s full collection of perfumes.

The new concept store, which opened on the 18th September, features unique interactive areas such as a central play table for perfume self-discovery, with an interactive perfume wheel designed to awaken the senses using touch and feel rather than just smell alone.

A range of scented funnels with iPads is also on offer to help customers discover their favourite fragrances.  

These new discovery methods have been designed to appeal to millennial customers looking for assistance to find the right scent for them.

The store also has a unique personalisation area where customers can decorate their purchases with diamantes, initials, gems, ribbons, pearls, bows and charms. In addition a personalisation service will engrave bottles with names or messages for a small charge. The store will also launch some new gift-wrapping ideas, including personalised ribbon and gift-wrap. 

Designed by the internal team at The Perfume Shop, the store features an Instagrammable chandelier with stunning floral design, reusing perfume bottles to highlight the in-store Bottle Recycling service.

The week of the launch will see a series of events and activities to celebrate every aspect of fragrance, including art of personalisation parties and expertise sessions. The ful schedule of events is available at www.theperfumeshop.com.
