Remington UK announces Lucy Mecklenburgh as haircare ambassador

Remington UK has announced TV personality, model and businesswoman Lucy Mecklenburgh as its first UK haircare ambassador.

The 12-month partnership will see Mecklenburgh work collaboratively with Remington to leverage her influence and following to continue driving the buzz around recent launches, including the premium Hydraluxe Pro Straightener and Hairdryer, as well as the full Hydraluxe range. 

Her role will include promoting the products throughout the 12-month partnership, supporting impactful campaigns and the brand’s wider strategy to ensure the Hydraluxe ranges are the go-to choice for her audience, which aligns with Remington’s core consumer. 

The partnership marks the first time Remington UK has worked with an ambassador of this profile on a long-term strategic basis.

Since 2018, Remington’s brand proposition has encouraged customers to ‘Get Your You On’, championing individual personal style and building confidence, which is reflected in its wide portfolio of haircare products for all hair types. 

Mecklenburgh says: “I absolutely love the Hydraluxe Pro and Hydraluxe product ranges and have always tried to seek out styling tools which cause the least amount of damage to my hair as possible. The Hydraluxe Pro products are perfect as they let you style without the risk of heat damage, something I’ve struggled with over the years due to being involved in regular events and photoshoots.”
