Tangle Teezer revamps cult-classic hairbrush

Hairbrush brand Tangle Teezer has announced the redesign of the iconic Tangle Teezer with the launch of the Plant Brush. The brush is made from 85% sustainably sourced, plant-based materials for the same high performance as the original Tangle Teezer but is kinder to the planet.

The brush is available in four different colours; Marshmallow Pink, Earthy Purple, Sunny Orange and Deep Sea Blue and leaves hair glossy and frizz-free with the brand’s patented two-tiered teeth technology. It includes long, flexible teeth which detangle without causing damage and short teeth to smooth the hair.

Containing sustainably grown and harvested castor beans developed into innovative bio-plastic, the Plant Brush has a reduced dependency on fossil fuels, favouring renewable energy sources. In a further effort towards sustainability, the brand introduced a recycling scheme allowing you to recycle any old plastic hairbrushes to redeem a 15% discount on a Tangle Teezer upgrade.

The Plant Brush is available from Boots, Amazon, Lookfantastic.com and Tangleteezer.com,
RRP £17.
