Celebrity hair stylist Sam McKnight has launched his first haircare product line.

Inspired by his much-loved garden, Hair By Sam McKnight is packed with hair and skin-loving ingredients and combines results-driven botanical ingredients with scientific innovation.

The skincare-inspired formulas are designed to provide the foundation of every great hairstyle for every hair type. 

To earn their place in Sam's kit bag, each product has been meticulously tried and tested backstage at fashion shows on all hair types, on shoots and on the red carpet to ensure they perform. 

The range includes Light Cleanse Gentle Shampoo (£28) for those who like wash their hair every day, people with sensitive scalps, fine hair types and those with natural, untreated hair. This hardworking but gentle shampoo cleanses without stripping the hair or irritating the scalp.

Meanwhile, Light Nourish Weightless Conditioner (£28) is for all hair types, including frizz-prone, fine and flyaway hair and those who like to wash daily. It contains active biopolymers derived from hydrolysed corn starch that work to reduce frizz and leave strands smooth and sleek, forming a protective barrier on the surface of the hair to stop moisture intrusion.

For dry, damaged and colour treated hair, thirsty hair and scalps, Rich Cleanse Nourishing Shampoo (£28) is a reparative, fortifying, colour-protecting and gently effective shampoo that gives over-worked hair a much-needed dose of nourishment. Sugar beet acts as an anti- hardwater agent, pulling the impurities away from the hair and stopping deposits dulling the hair, while Quinoa Pro Complex is a rich source of 17 amino acids that can strengthen hair follicles naturally and repair hair by hydrating the scalp, leaving locks soft and shiny. 

Rich Nourish Replenishing Conditioner (£28) delivers a blend of vitamin E and omega-6 and 9 and castor oil that replenish the hair’s natural oils without weighing it down. It leaves hair revitalised, manageable, soft, shiny and strong.

Curl Cleanse Cleansing Conditioner (£34) is for textured hair and curly, coarse, thick hair. This deeply nourishing cream co-wash that refreshes and defines all hair textures without weighing it down. Up-cycled jackfruit, a sustainable zero-waste ingredient from a tropical tree fruit grown in Asia, tames frizz while smoothing, defining and nourishing the hair and scalp, while watercress, sage leaf and velvet flower extracts enrich the hair with vitamins and minerals for a healthy, shiny finish.

Finally, Deeper Love Intense Conditioning Mask (£48) provides an instant transformational hair fix for dry, damaged, over-worked and over-processed hair. The 'one-and-done' mask is packed full of resilience-boosting, strengthening ingredients, including the ceramide-like molecule RepHair^TM that reinforces the hair fibre instantly, and Crodabond^TM which down damaged hair cuticles and seals split ends.
