NYX Professional Makeup collaborates with Barbie

In celebration of the upcoming release of the live action Barbie movie, NYX Professional Makeup has unveiled its limited edition ‘Barbie The Movie’ makeup collection.  

The Barbie movie features a star-studded international cast and will transport audiences to the vibrant world of Barbie Land, where you can be anything you want to be.  

The collaboration will celebrate the movie’s prominent themes of diversity and empowerment through a global campaign featuring a diverse cast of Barbies and Kens. The collection will be brought to life by beauty influencers of all ethnicities, body types, sexual orientations and genders.  

Included in the limited edition collection, are the two Barbie Mini Palettes: ‘IT’S A BARBIE PARTY!’ or ‘Turn up the KEN-ERGY'. These mini eyeshadow palettes boast six pigmented shades and also feature a mini butter lip gloss inspired by the Barbie movie.  

The ‘Barbie The Movie’ range also features the Barbie Smooth Whip Matte Lip Cream. Available in two limited edition shades, these creamy matte lipsticks deliver vibrant colour for every Barbie and Ken.

Backlash, a creative experiential agency, hosted an event celebrating the launch of the limited edition collection. It took place in Covent Garden from the 14th July-16th July, where visitors were able to discover a new summer look with makeup artists from NYX Professional Makeup and were able to purchase products from the range.
