Eucerin gains Skin Health Alliance accreditation

Eucerin’s Anti-Pigment range has been awarded an official accreditation by the Skin Health Alliance, certifying its skin tolerability and efficacy.

The Skin Health Alliance is an independent body that provides dermatological accreditation to leading brands whose products it verifies as skin-safe.

Working with a panel of dermatologists and skincare experts, the Eucerin Anti-Pigment range was scientifically screened to ensure each product met a series of safety and efficacy criteria.

This included ensuring the ingredients and formulations comply with international regulatory standards in the markets where they are sold.

Eucerin’s Anti-Pigment range is the UK’s number one hyperpigmentation range, formulated with breakthrough patented ingredient thiamidol.

Selected from a screening process of over 50,000 compounds, thiamidol acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation by reducing the amount of melanin produced in the skin. With regular use, this ingredient has been proven to show a visible reduction in pigmentation by up to 75%.

Alex Gostling, Pharmacy Director for UK & ROI at Beiersdorf, says: “At Eucerin, we pride ourselves on our ground-breaking skin research and ingredient innovation. With Thiamidol, we knew we had discovered something special and life changing for those who suffer with hyperpigmentation conditions. This accreditation adds an additional layer of credibility and reassurance for our customers that not only are the products skin safe, but that they actually work too.”
