Dove, the No.1 female care brand in the deodorants category, has launched its first range of refillable anti-perspirants, adding to the growing range of refill formats on the market.
The refillable anti-perspirant range utilises Dove’s patented technology to provide 72-hour sweat and odour protection by blocking sweat ducts and helping to prevent malodours.
Combined with Dove’s signature skincare formula, the refillable deodorants are ideal for customers looking for both efficacy and skincare benefits in a more sustainable product.
Shoppers can get their hands on 3 starter kits, each presented in a beautifully designed case and with a 35ml refill. The range features 3 fine fragrance-inspired scents: Original, Violet & Tonka Bean and Peony & Pineapple.
In addition to the starter kit scents, 3 standalone refills will also be available including Macadamia & Coconut, White Flower & Heliotrope (Superdrug Exclusive) and Lily & Green Lime (Boots Exclusive).
The refills are designed to fit interchangeably into any case, allowing shoppers ultimate personalisation with refreshing scents.
Chris Barron, General Manager for Unilever’s Personal Care business in the UK&I, says: “Refill formats continue to be an exciting growth space within deodorants.
“By bringing together Dove’s 72-hour protection and signature skincare benefits in a beautifully designed refillable case, we’re expanding shopper choice within the refill category,” comments Barron.
The launch occurs as the market for refillable deodorants grows significantly, now accounting for a 4% share of the deodorant market.
