The Fragrance Shop is inviting customers to experience the world’s first artificial intelligence fragrance-making machine, the EveryHuman.  

The machine allows participants to craft unique fragrances based on a personalised questionnaire, blending 46 scent building blocks to generate individualised scent profiles, providing a fragrance experience like no other.  

Questions range from personal to fragrance-specific with this information feeding into a data system made up of a combination of natural and synthetic molecules to generate three corresponding unique scent profiles from tens of thousands of potential combinations.  

Users can then view the various ingredients inside each formula and decide if they would like to purchase the products, priced at £45 for three 5ml bottles. If they would like to go ahead, the machine will create the fragrances in real time on site, in just over a minute.  

The retailer previously held a two day pop-up event at the Manchester Trafford Centre to showcase the technology, with the first 25 customers receiving a complimentary gift bag from the retailer. 

The AI fragrance-making experience is available at The Fragrance Shop’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London.
