Weleda unveils a £500k TV campaign

Natural beauty brand Weleda has unveiled a stunning £500k TV campaign for Skin Food; its number 1 skincare product in the UK.

The new autumn campaign is the brand’s first TV ad for the iconic product, and will spearhead a £1m integrated marketing campaign to promote Weleda’s hero range during ‘Skin Food September’, to grow Skin Food’s position as the UK’s #1 certified natural moisturiser. 

The commercial was shot using CGI to communicate the efficacy of Weleda’s potent organic ingredients.

The new campaign will air on primetime television across the ITV Central, Meridian and Granada regions from 5 September to 16 October 2022, reaching an estimated audience of nearly 8 million people (over 30 million views).

The TVC will be complimented by a colourful digital advertising and social media campaign that will reach an additional 3 million consumers during September and October, along with print advertising in key media titles such as the Evening Standard. 

This activity will dovetail with consumer sampling during British Beauty Week 5-11 September and London Fashion Week 16-20 September. Weleda is also sponsoring shows at London Fashion Week and will again be sponsoring The Model Zone, for the thirteenth year, providing a Skin Food sanctuary for models in between castings, fittings, photoshoots and shows.

Completing the activity, Weleda will unveil a magical new Instagram filter that conjures up Skin Food’s powerful botanical ingredients like potent pixie dust.
