NailBuff, the new nail polish app that helps customers find the perfect shade, is gearing up to include a function to shop directly through the app. It is also set to begin to feature brand pages for nail salons, who will be able to upload their collection to the app so users can select in advance of their appointment or select a salon based on the shade/brand they are looking for. 

NailBuff is also working on the capability to book appointments through the app, streamlining the nail salon and purchasing experience to one app. 

Brands currently searchable on the app include OPI, essie, Jessica, butter LONDON and Ciate. 

The app is the brainchild of Harpreet Birdi whose career in investment banking HR took her to New York, where she became hooked on the nail salon experience. Unable to find the same service in London, Harpreet decided to qualify as a nail technician. Coupled with the influx of beauty apps over the past couple of years, Harpreet spotted an opportunity to combine her love of technology and nail care expertise.

The app is free to download for iOS from the app store. An Android version is in development.
