We are delighted to announce that the host for The Beauty Awards 2017 with OK! is actress and TV presenter Amanda Holden.
Amanda became a household name playing the part of Mel in the hit comedy Kiss Me Kate, and cemented her reputation as one of the nation’s favourite actresses with leading roles The Grimleys, Wild At Heart, Big Top and Cutting It.
Her theatre credits include Liesl Von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest. She was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for her title role in the West End musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and won three awards for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Most recently, Amanda starred in and co-produced the award-winning play, Stepping Out.
Amanda’s TV presenting credits include: This Morning; Lorraine; Dispatches; The Children’s Champions Awards and I’ve Got Something to Tell You. She is arguably best-known as the longest-standing judge on Britain’s Got Talent – next year’s series will be her 12th! During this time, the show has pulled in audiences in excess of 20 million viewers and series four resulted in finding the worldwide phenomenon Susan Boyle.
