Commune, a new sustainable self-care brand with a design-driven, community ethos, launched on 21st June – the Summer solstice.

The brand was founded by fashion veterans - husband and wife duo Rémi Paringaux  (Dazed & Confused, Vogue Japan and Lululemon) and Kate Neal (Edun and Peter Pilotto), who together have merged their love of creativity and design with their passion for the British countryside to create this truly sustainable collection.  

Formulated with 99% naturally derived plant-based ingredients, and designed without single-use plastics, each product in the range — Body Wash, Body Cream, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand Wash and Hand Cream— is free from synthetic fragrance, artificial colourings, dyes, sulphates, parabens and other harsh chemicals.

Elements such as bespoke, reusable pumps and highly recyclable aluminium bottles blend the brand’s functional tenets with an elevated aesthetic. While global sourcing ensures the finest range of materials and ingredients, all formulations are UK-produced with a commitment to supporting local businesses.

The launch collection features Commune’s first signature scent, Seymour, which blends top notes of grapefruit and lemongrass; heart notes of Egyptian geranium, clary sage and Bulgarian lavender; and base notes of Iranian galbanum, Japanese hiba wood and cypress.

Kate Neal, Co-Founder of Commune, says: “Our intention is to create a return to a simpler, more harmonious way of living.
