Vita Coco enters hair care market

The UK’s no.1 coconut water brand Vita Coco has unveiled its first natural hair care range, packed with the goodness of coconuts.

Following the success of its organic coconut oil, Vita Coco is extending its personal care offering with its line of hair cleansing, conditioning and treatment products.

The collection features three ranges, each containing up to 31% coconut and formulated with over 95% natural ingredients.

Vita Coco Nourish Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask are packed with coconut water, meaning they are full of vitamins and antioxidants to hydrate hair, providing a smooth and glossy finish with a delicious tropical coconutty scent.

Vita Coco Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum are designed for brittle, damaged hair, helping to rebuild and repair to leave locks silky soft and smelling delicious.

Finally, Vita Coco Scalp Shampoo, Conditioner and Scalp Scrub are formulated with a soothing combination of coconut and guava, providing an anti-inflammatory effect to stressed scalps.

Vita Coco EMEA is a certified B Corp, and a core part of the brand’s purpose is focused on responsibility to people and the planet, from farmers to consumers. The Vita Coco Project works with coconut farmers across the globe to help raise one million people in farming communities out of poverty. All the hair care product ranges are cruelty-free, vegan and packed in 75% post-consumer waste HDPE bottles.

Vita Coco Haircare is available at, Holland & Barrett, Amazon and Ocado, and will roll out to further retailers later this year.
