Yardley sparkles with new jewel-themed collection

The Collection is a new range of floral eau de toilettes from iconic British perfume house Yardley London.

Targeting the 'mature millennial' (aged 35+), the jewel-themed scents are exclusive to Boots. It will be promoted by a digital campaign featuring model Tigerlily Taylor.

There are five fragrances in The Collection: Daisy Sapphire, Rosie Ruby, Poppy Diamond, Lilac Amethyst and Flora Jade, each housed in a glass art-deco style flacon and packaged in jewel graphic print box.

Yardley has assigned personality types to each scent. Daisy Sapphire is 'cheeky, playful and cute' while Rosie Ruby is described as 'classic rock chic'; Poppy Diamond is 'confident, strong and powerful' and Lilac Amethyst is 'edgy and mysterious'; Flora Jade is 'boho chic'.

The line-up is a celebration of Yardley's floral heritage, brought bang up to date with five fresh fragrances all created by women perfumers from IFF.

Daisy Sapphire is a green floral with top notes of green leaves and apple, heart notes of hyacinth and white rose and a dry down of sandalwood and musk.

Poppy Diamond is a sheer floral fragrance with top notes of pear, bergamot and honey with a heart of rose, peony and lily of the valley. Its dry down feaures cedar wood, sandalwood and vanilla.

Lilac Amethyst is classified as a floral woody fragrance with top notes of pear, lemon, bergamot and basil and a heart of fig, peach flower, black pepper and heliotrope. These notes are complemented by a warm, woody amber base.
