Which? names Savers best high street store

Savers Health & Beauty beat off household names John Lewis, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer to be named best high street retailer in a poll by Which? magazine. The annual survey is recognised as an independent measure of the UK’s most trusted, and loved, retailers, voted for by customers.

Scoring 81%, Savers was pushed to the top of the pile by customers for its unwavering commitment to offering the best prices on the high street.  Its dedication to low prices has been Savers' mission since 1988, with  the company celebrating its 30th birthday this year.

Savers was also placed in the top 10 of the prestigious annual list The Sunday Times Top 25 Best Big Companies to Work For; and the 2018 All About School Leavers Awards placed it third in the retail sector.

Doug Winchester, Savers managing director comments: “We are delighted to have the hard work of our store teams recognised with the Which? ranking.  To receive the number one spot in our birthday year makes it even more special.”

“The high street has changed hugely since we opened the door of our first store in Durham 30 years ago. Now more than ever, we know customers trust and rely on our commitment to low prices and it’s the hard work and dedication of our head office team that help us to deliver these.”
