Weleda partners with TerraCycle on product amnesty

Award-winning sustainable beauty brand Weleda has teamed up with Terracycle to launch an empty beauty product amnesty.

As part of London Beauty Week, which runs in Covent Garden until 15th September, Weleda will offer products from its Skin Food range in return for empty beauty packaging, which will be then be passed on to Terracyle to be repurposed into new materials. TerraCycle points earned through the amnesty will go towards the Global Penguin Society to support its conservation work.

TerraCycle is a global leader in the collection and repurposing of otherwise non-recyclable post-consumer and post-industrial waste, such as beauty and food packaging, ocean plastics and cigarette waste.

As part of the inaugural London Beauty Week Weleda is also offering complimentary hand massages from its expert Wellbeing Advisors. Vistoris will be able to shop the Skin Food collection fro Weleda’s Nice Cream Van, and recieve free samples in return for sharing their Skin Food Selfies on social media.
