Weleda is building on the success of its cult classic Skin Food with a new body care product.

Weleda Skin Food Body Lotion provides intensive, long-lasting moisture, offering immediate comfort to dry or stressed-out skin.

The easily-absorbed formulation is designed to leave skin soft, supple and healthy with a subtle sheen but no stickiness.

It features scents of sweet orange and aromatic lavender, balanced by gentle notes of benzoin.

Skin Food Body Lotion is NATRUE-certified natural and of 100% natural origin, 79% of which is organic. Key ingredients include soothing chamomile, skin-smoothing viola tricolor, healing calendula, revitalising rosemary and pampering shea butter.

The product has been dermatologically tested for suitability on sensitive and very dry skin. 93% of users confirmed the lotion provided an immediate feeling of comfort.

The ergonomically-shaped and super lightweight bottle is not only made from recyclable plastic that can go out for kerbside collection, but is also manufactured from recycled rPET for added sustainability.

The new body lotion joins the original Skin Food and its growing family of Skin Food Light, Skin Food Lip Balm and Skin Food Body Butter, and heralds the relaunch of Weleda’s full Body Lotion range early next year, with existing classics due to be updated in new packaging and selected reformulations to create richer, thicker products with extra moisturising power.
