Spray a little happiness with The Fragrance Shop

Perfume retailer The Fragrance Shop is staging a two-week happiness takeover across its 200+ stores so that shoppers can ‘spray a little happiness’.

The campaign kicked off at The Fragrance Shop’s Westfield White City store on 4th October 2021, which changed its signage to The Happiness Shop and saw singer Pixie Lott surprise the Rays of Sunshine Wish Choir with a special performance of Pink’s Cover Me in Sunshine.

The Fragrance Shop has partnered with Rays of Sunshine for the event, which will see 5p from all in-store purchases over the 2-week period donated to the charity.

Rays of Sunshine brightens the lives of seriously ill young people aged 3-18 across the UK by granting wishes, fulfilling hospital ward wishes and organising outings, events and entertainment for them during their time in hospital.

As well as the launch activity at the Westfield store, The Fragrance Shop is spreading happiness with a 2-week competition across all its stores, with customers having the chance to win fragrance and beauty hampers worth £200 each.

Positive affirmation cards, colourful decorations and limited edition laminate gift bags will also be available in all stores to help bring a smile to customers’ faces.

Sanjay Vadera, CEO of The Fragrance Shop, says: “As our strapline is 'Spray A Little Happiness', we at The Fragrance Shop are absolutely delighted to be spreading the message of happiness to our customers in all of our stores for the next two weeks. We are pleased to be partnering once again with Rays Of Sunshine, who have helped us kick off this Happiness takeover at our Westfield White City store with their incredible Wish Choir, and a special appearance from Pixie Lott.”

Michele Afif, CEO of Rays of Sunshine, adds: “We are delighted to be working with The Fragrance Shop once again. Their support is invaluable to us in bringing smiles to the faces of the seriously ill children we support so we are very grateful to them for their contribution to help our fundraising efforts.”
