Weleda has unveiled its latest collection, the rejuvenating Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring Face Care range.  

The collection marks Weleda’s most scientifically advanced innovation in 100 years and features unique patent-pending Collagen+ Active Complex technology to boost collagen, smooth deep wrinkles and bring greater definition to facial contours.  

Enriched with powerful botanical formulations to counter the signs of skin ageing, the range boasts organic plant oils, butters and waxes including shea and cocoa butters, nourishing sacha inchi oil and skin-smoothing olive oil.  

The range is designed to stimulate collagen synthesis, balance skin pigmentation, hydrate and nourish the skin and brighten skin tone to help reduce the impact of visible menopausal changes to the skin.  

Fragranced with an aromatic blend of natural essential oils with floral notes of fine lavender, citrus notes of mandarin and balsamic and woody notes of sandalwood, the range is NATRUE-certified and vegan.  

The collection features four new formulations including the Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring Day Cream, a hydrating, fast-absorbing Day Cream which is formulated to help reduce deep wrinkles and balance skin pigmentation for plumper skin. The cream is clinically proven to firm sagging skin, with skin feeling more elastic and intensively nourished. For the evening, the Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring Night Cream works to generate skin during its nightly repair phase for plumper, more elastic skin.  

The range also includes the Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring Face Serum, a cell-renewing serum for firmer feeling skin. It is ideal for when skin needs an immediate moisture boost and can be layered under the Day or Night Cream. The serum can be used daily on dry skin.  

The final product is the Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring Eye & Lip Cream, a fragrance-free Eye Cream for visibly re-densified skin. The soothing, revitalising formula helps to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. The Collagen+ Active Complex boosts the skin’s collagen content for sharper eye contours and organic olive leaf extract protects and soothes the skin. The Eye Cream is suitable for contact lens wearers.
