Superdrug has announced the addition of the new Optimum Peptide Eye Cream to the retailer’s existing cult-favourite range. It is expected to be Superdrug’s fastest-selling skincare launch of all time.
The targeted formula refreshes and hydrates the delicate eye area to help address tired eyes, puffiness and fine lines.
It contains collagen-boosting amino acids to smooth fine lines and improve firmness. It also contains acetylated hyaluronic acid which delivers deep hydration to help plump and revitalise the skin. Niacinamide also helps to support the skin barrier and boost collagen.
A consumer trial over 4 weeks found that after application the eyes look instantly rejuvenated and refreshed, after 2 weeks skin appears plumper and deeply hydrated, and after 4 weeks fine lines and wrinkles look visibly reduced and skin feels nourished.
Dr. Nora Jafaar, the new official brand ambassador for the range, says: “Peptides have been the best thing I’ve introduced into my personal skincare routine this year and I’m so glad we finally have an affordable and accessible range on the market with Superdrug.”
The Optimum Peptide Eye Cream is available now at Superdrug, £18 RRP.
