Peep Club reveals coconut oil eye make-up remover wipes

Peep Club has unveiled the Soothing Eye Balm Wipes, based on the same award-winning formula from the brand’s Soothing Coconut Eye Balm.

The wipes are biodegradable and made from plant-based viscose, while the sachet is 100% recyclable, to remove eye make-up with minimal impact on the environment.

Nicola Alexander-Cross, optometrist and founder of Peep Club, also explains how the wipes also help to care for the eyes and lashes in addition to removing make-up: “Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids like lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid which deeply nourish and hydrate the delicate skin around the eyes.”

“The vitamin E also helps condition lash follicles and because coconut oil has mild anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, it’s suitable for those who have irritated or chapped eyelids and any redness or tightness as they will help to soothe sensitivity and dryness,” Alexander-Cross continues.

Suitable for daily use, just one swipe can remove eye liner, shadow and mascara - even waterproof varieties. The formula has been tested by ophthalmologists and the wipes contain a blend of organic coconut oil, bilberry oil and chamomile extract which is kind enough to be tolerated by sensitive skin.

The Peep Club Soothing Coconut Balm Wipes are now available from peepclub.co.uk, RRP £12.
