Neutrogena has announced the launch of its two-piece Collagen Bank range, the brand’s first science-backed, pre-ageing solution.
The collection aims to empower people to help preserve their skin’s natural collagen to help maintain youthful, plump skin. The launch follows a social-led campaign in the US, which was fronted by actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld.
With researching suggesting that up to 1% of collagen is lost every year from our 20s, the collection helps to improve early signs of collagen decline including radiance, texture, fine lines, firmness and elasticity.
The range includes the Neutrogena Collagen Bank SPF 30 Moisturiser, a lightweight daily moisturiser that helps to defend and help preserve the skin’s collagen. The formula is non-greasy and fast-absorbing, whilst not leaving a white cast or clogging pores.
For night time use, the Neutrogena Collagen Bank Moisturiser is infused with bakuchiol, an antioxidant that helps to defend against collagen-damaging environmental stressors and fight visible signs of early ageing.
The formulas contain UK Patented Micro-peptide Technology, which is smaller than leading anti-ageing peptides, which mean that it can penetrate beyond the top layers of the epidermis to help strengthen collagen.
After 12 weeks of use, a study showed that 95% of users agreed that they had firmer-looking skin, with 87% saying they saw an approvement in visible lines.
Anthony Dunn, Marketing Director at Neutrogena UK & Ireland, says: “We’re witnessing a profound shift in how consumers approach skincare, moving from reactive treatments to proactive preservation. More and more people are understanding the long-term benefits of ‘skin-vesting’ in their skin early.”
“Neutrogena’s Collagen Bank range is precisely engineered to meet this demand, offering a cutting-edge solution that empowers individuals to safeguard their skin’s most vital asset: collagen.”
“Using technology that has been developed by more than 8 years of research, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with dermatologist and created a game-changing product for skincare routines and the fight against ageing,” comments Dunn.
The Neutrogena Collagen Bank collection is available now.
