Irish skincare brand Ella & Jo has announced that it has received the B Corporation accreditation.

The certification recognises businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. The brand joins a growing global community of leading ethical brands such as Patagonia, Aesop and The Body Shop.

In order to receive the accreditation, the brand underwent a rigorous assessment of its processes, including reviews of Ella & Jo’s packaging, supply chain transparency, community outreach and employee wellbeing. The company will be monitored and reassessed every three years to ensure continued compliance and improvement.

Charlene Flanagan, co-founder of Ella & Go, says: “Our mission has always been about more than skincare, it’s about empowering people to feel confident in their skin and confident in the choices they make. Achieving B Corp status reinforces that commitment and pushes us to do even more.”

Ella & Jo was founded in 2017 by makeup artist Charlene Flanagan and skin therapist Niamh Ryan with the aim of simplifying skincare routines and delivering real, visible benefits.
