New data from Pinterest reveals the current rise in vegan beauty searches. 

Over the past year, the platform has seen a 50% increase in vegan make-up searches; a 50% increase in vegan face masks searches in the past six months; and a 75% increase in vegan hair product searches in the past six months. 

Every month on Pinterest, 200 million people around the world look for cosmetic choices to find the ones that matter most to them and save with a tap.

In the UK, monthly active users are growing by nearly 30% and over the past year and 4.5 million ideas are saves on Pinterest in the UK every day. These searches reflect how consumers are using the platform to decide on where and what they want to use and what they want to buy, allowing cosmetic brands to stay ahead of emerging trends and the shifts in personal interests and behaviour of the consumers.
