Head & Shoulders goes premium

Procter & Gamble's Head & Shoulders has extended its portfolio with the launch of its first ever premium line of shampoos and conditioners for women, Head & Shoulders Suprême.

Available nationwide this month, the line boasts a new formula, look and regime that combines scalp to tip technology. The recommended retail price is £4.99 for both the shampoo (400ml) and the conditioner (275ml).

Piroctone Olamine is the shampoo's new ingredient which is described as a soluble anti-dandruff Scalp Active that works in harmony with moisturising elements to allow for greater cosmetic and moisturising hair care benefits. Argan oil, recognised for its moisturising and nourishing scalp and hair benefits, has also been combined into the Head & Shoulders Suprême blend.

The conditioner features a new conditioning active, too, BTMAC, said to offer the brand's highest level of conditioning. It is also blended with 0.5% ZPT active for enhanced scalp benefits.
