Geoff Percy joins Look Good Feel Better

Beauty industry veteran Geoff Percy is the new chair of national cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better. He  will lead the board of trustees and work closely with executive director, Sarahjane Robertson and senior management team on the strategy and continued growth of the charity.

Percy spent his executive career within the health and beauty industry, holding senior marketing positions for Nivea UK and Neutrogena.  He went on to become sales and marketing director for the personal care division at Smith & Nephew before becoming MD of the company's global consumer business.

As CEO, Percy led a management buyout of Smith & Nephew’s beauty portfolio in 2000, transforming the business model.  A secondary management buyout was undertaken in 2004 and the business rebranded as Simple Health and Beauty. Simple, having attained the leading position in the UK skincare market, was exited to Alberto Culver - now Unilever - in 2011. Geoff acted as non-executive advisor to the new owner in the UK / US for 18 months.

Percy was chairman of the CTPA (Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association) between 2004 - 2007 and is currently non-executive Chairman of SLG and Bronnley and a founding partner of Below The Belt Grooming for Men.

He comments: “Having worked within the health and beauty industry for most of my life, I am fully aware of Look Good Feel Better’s incredible achievements over the past 24 years.  It’s an exciting time for the charity as they continue to expand and I’m looking forward to working with the whole team to explore more opportunities and support even more people living with cancer.”
