Elemis debuts 'Drone Peptide Technology'

British brand Elemis is hailing its latest product addition as 'the next generation of anti-ageing skincare'.

Using groundbreaking Drone Peptide Technology to target areas of the face where stress shows most, Pro Collagen Overnight Matrix also blends together Padina Pavonica, Microalgae and Wild Indigo Oligosaccharides,  to help restore the natural balance to stressed skin.

Drone Peptide Technology is said to act as a targeted delivery system, bringing stressed skin hydration and anti-ageing actives. The formulation contains encapsulated Peptide4 and Hetra-Peptide which, the company says, works to protect the delivery of the actives and to help with the penetration into the skin's surface.

Noella Gabriel, the brand's co-founder, says the effects of stress on the skin are severe. "The prolonged release of stress hormones in the skin causes a decrease of hyaluronic acid production, contributing to the breakdown of collagen and overall cellular ageing.

"Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix has a smooth gel-cream texture that glazes over the face, creating a protective matrix that mimics the skin to seal in hydration, helping to prevent trans-epidermal water loss. When you drift off to sleep, its Drone Peptide Technology goes to work, targeting areas of the face where stress shows most. Our goal is for you to wake up to beautifully hydrated, younger-looking skin.

The new addition will go on counter in April, priced at £145 for 50ml.
