Cuir Impériale makes Harrods debut

While Grasse in southern France is well known for its perfume heritage, it is also famous for producing fine leather goods. British independent perfume house Ormonde Jayne brings the town's heritage together in its latest fragrance, Cuir Impériale.

Perfumer Linda Pilkington has used the burnt woody scent extracted from the fragrance of leather together with spices and flowers.

Top notes include cognac oil, clary sage, bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper with leather and suede heart notes of orris, raspberry , rose absolute and freesia. The drydown features notes of tonka, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, vetiver and incense.

Available exclusively at Harrods, it retails at £195 for 50ml.
