Cancer-kind beauty platform launches

Make-up artist Lisa Potter-Dixon and cancer campaigner Helen Addis have joined forces to create The C-List, an online beauty shop packed with cancer-kind products from trusted brands.

The C-List offers a carefully-curated selection of products that are effective and safe for use on sensitive skin and by those undergoing chemotherapy.

In addition, the site offers support to cancer patients with video and tutorials packed with helpful tips and advice, such as how to fill in eyebrows, how to rehydrate skin during cancer treatment, and even tips on telling children about cancer.

The site founders approached trusted brands to create the best products, and have also spoken to cancer patients for their tips on ways to look and feel good.

Addis was inspired to create The C-List when, faced with her own cancer diagnosis, she couldn’t find anywhere to go for beauty advice.

Brands like bareMinerals, La Roche-Posay, Weleda and Elemis are featured on the site, with more being added every day. Alongside product recommendations, beauty tips and a dollop of humour combine to make The C-List a fun, welcoming place for people with cancer. The models featured on the website have also been touched by cancer and their stories are shared on the website.

100% of net profits from the affiliate fees earned through product sales will go towards gifting a much-deserving ‘C-Lister’ with a beauty hamper or a spa treatment each month.
