Amazon has revealed its most popular online beauty and grooming Christmas presents for 2015, as well as the products that sold best during the year as a whole.

Unsurprisingly, fragrance was among the most popular Christmas gifts, and 2015’s best-sellers included Paco Rabanne Lady Million EDP Spray for Women, Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT for Men, Calvin Klein CKIN2U for Her EDT and Calvin Klein CKIN2U for Him EDT.

Grooming gadgets for men sold well too – in particular the Remington Barba Beard Trimmer and Huntsmen Beard Oil – while women received gifts such as the ghd IV Styler and ghd Air Hair Dryer.

Regional stats show that men Northern Ireland also received Wahl Hair, Beard, Moustache Trimmers, while West Londoners bought into Udderly Smooth Moisturising Cream, Aveeno Moisturising Lotion and Urbane Man Beard Oil. The Braun Oral-B Pro 200 Electric Toothbrush was a top seller across the capital.

Looking at 2015 total sales, Amazon says that “a natural but sculpted look” was most sought after, with customers keen to pick up beauty products that helped them achieve the contouring trend. Best-sellers included the Real Techniques Core Collection Kit and Miracle Complexion Sponge, W7 In the Buff Eye Colour Palette and Arpan 15 Colour Concealer Palette.

The trend for statement brows and long, lush lashes continued, with growth serums from RapidBrow and RapidLash as well as brow stencils and Eylure brow tint all proving popular.

Men were keen to ensure their bodies were smooth and hair-free, so bought lots of hair removal products like Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Cream and Philips Body Hair Trimmer. And to keep their crowning glories looking good, best-sellers included Fudge Matte Paste, Kent Brushes Handmade Comb and Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo.
