The Perfume Shop's Rising Star

 

The Perfume Shop is celebrating after one of it’s team collected a prestigious award at the Retail Week Rising Stars Awards earlier this month.

Thea Wilson, CRM, insight & data manager at The Perfume Shop won the award for Marketing or Social Media Individual of the Year 2017.

Wilson was recognised for her part in the success of The Perfume Shop’s Rewards Club, as well as taking on new challenges, such as overhauling the retailer’s social media platforms and content, data and insight.

Wilson has worked at The Perfume Shop for just over two year and in that time, has taken a key role in growing the Rewards Club, which now has nearly three million members. Along with her team, she has worked hard to deliver annual increases in member sales through Rewards Club customer communication and innovative store incentives to drive CRM targets.

Wilson says: “It’s so exciting to have won this award and it means so much to me and the business, especially as we celebrate the win in our 25th birthday year. As a team we have all worked hard over the last couple of years to develop the CRM and data department which has grown significantly, proving its increasing role of importance in the overall business strategy.”

Cathy Newman, The Perfume Shop’s Marketing and Customer Experience Director, adds: “Thea is always willing to take on new challenges and looking for innovative ways to exceed targets, while ensuring her team have the support they need to develop their own skills and reach their career goals. This is a fantastic achievement and we’re extremely proud of her.”
