The first of Superdrug's new Beauty Studios has opened in Leicester’s Fosse Park store offering customers a barber shop, hair salon, nail bar, waxing studio, spray tanning and piercing, each area manned with fully trained specialists.

 The first Superdrug Barber shop offers a men’s grooming station, including wet and dry shaves, as well as men’s hairstyling and colour treatments. The team has been trained by WAHL, with prices from £8 for a beard trim.

Jerry Walkling, Superdrug Sales Operations Director, comments: “Our Brow & Lash Bars have been a huge success and the launch of our new Beauty Studio format takes this fast accessible beauty approach to the next level.

“Our customers can now come into store and not just pick up a beauty bargain and get advice on the latest products, but treat themselves to a beauty treatment such as a spray tan or manicure, or have their highlights done.”

Currently Superdrug offers Orly Nail Bars in 63 stores, Brow & Lash bars in 282 stores and Waxing in nine stores.  The retailer says it plans to follow the opening of the Superdrug Beauty Studio in Fosse Park with more stores offering the full beauty and grooming approach planned for the future.
