Rimmel and Kate Moss celebrate 15-year partnership with new range

Rimmel London and Kate Moss have launched a special edition Lip & Nail Anniversary Collection to celebrate their successful 15-year partnership.

The range was unveiled at an exclusive event in London, where the supermodel shared her beauty tips and favourite Rimmel memories, and showed attendees the iconic outfits that provided inspiration for the new range.

The Anniversary Collection, available from 6 July 2016, comprises lip and nail products in Kate’s favourite reds and nudes. Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate (RRP £6.49) offers richly-saturated, luminous colour, with a full-impact formula infused with light-reflecting black diamonds. The range includes three red and three nude shades: Muse Red #51 (bold crimson), Idol Red  #52 (vibrant red), Retro Red  #53 (berry red), Boho Nude #56 (warm caramelized nude), Rock N Roll Nude #54, (peach-tinted neutral) and My Nude #55 (beige nude). The lipsticks feature bespoke rose gold packaging created especially for the range.

For nails, Super Gel Nail Polish by Kate (RRP £5.99) delivers a flawlessly glossy finish with the 3D volume of a professional gel manicure. The patented two-step Gel Colour System uses natural light curing technology to provide superior colour and shine for up to 14 days. The Anniversary Collection includes three new shades: Rock N Sparkle #044, a glamorous shimmering red; Boho-licious #015, a suit-all creamy beige; and the rose-gold Gilty Pleasure #071.

Kate Moss has been Rimmel’s muse since 2001, and she cites the relationship as one of her longest with a brand. Talking about the new collection, Kate says: “I’m incredibly proud of my 15 year relationship with Rimmel. It’s a brand very close to my heart; my first ever lipstick was Rimmel Heather Shimmer. The partnership has strengthened and evolved over the years, with me taking an actively creative role. The new anniversary collection echoes some of my favourite London looks from the last decade and a half. I’ve focused on reds and nudes because they’re the colours I love to wear – each shade reflects a different side of me.”
