MAC cosmetics, the brand that sets the beauty agenda each season, have just released the looks from New York and London fashion week. One trend prevailed – perfect base.
In New York at Carolina Herrera, make-up was ultimately created to enhance models' natural beauty, looking like a second skin. At Ohne Titel, artists cleverly weaved multiple textures together to create a flawless creamy non-cakey base. On the London runways (always know for being a little more experimental), artists took natural one step further at Simone Rocha by actually creating a 'natural' flush through the T-zone as if models' had “been out in fields on horseback, and had caught a little sun”. At Moschino Cheap and Chic hydrated creamy skin offset fun glittery lips.
The key to this look is sculpting, and MAC artists couldn't get enough of the new Naturally Defined Pro Sculpting Cream, blended under cheekbones this creates a natural looking contouring effect, meaning no need for bronzer or blush! Keep eyes peeled at counters, this product will be launched in 2012.
