Art & Makeup takes centre stage

Paloma Faith was among those who attended the celeb-studded launch of Art & Makeup, a visually arresting new book by one of the most exciting and innovative make-up artists working in the industry today, Lan Nguyen-Grealis.

Lan’s daring style and incredible technical ability has led her to work with many legendary figures, including David Bailey, Bianca Jagger and Rankin, whose photography takes centre stage in the book.

The book’s imagery was brought to life at the launch, with models who were works of art in themselves taking to the catwalk in one of England’s finest Art Deco buildings, Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden.

Among those at the spectacular event were Tallia Storm, Billie JD Porter, Jessica Wright, radio presenter Phil Clifton and Made in Chelsea stars Tiffany Watson, Lauren Hutton, Louise Thompson, Nicola Hughes and Kimberley Garner.

Art & Make up is published by Laurence King Publishing, and is priced £28.
