Dolce&Gabbana reinvents classic Light Blue scents

Dolce&Gabbana has reinvented its two cult fragrances, Light Blue and Light Blue pour Homme.

Sixteen years after the launch of Light Blue, master perfumer Olivier Cresp has created Light Blue Eau Intense pour Femme (RRP from £47), with top notes of lemon and Granny Smith apple, heart notes of marigold and jasmine petals, and base notes of amber woods and precious musks.

Meanwhile, 10 years after the introduction of the original male scent, master perfumer Alberto Morillas has produced the sensual Light Blue Eau Intense pour Homme (RRP from £48). Top notes of mandarin and frozen grapefruit lead to a salty, aquatic accord at the heart. Base notes of amber woods and musks complete the scent.

Inside their cool frosted-glass bottles, both fragrances take on the evocative light blue shade of the Mediterranean Sea.

Bianca Balti and David Gandy reprise their roles as the faces of the Light Blue couple in the advertising campaign for the new fragrances, with their love story continuing against the beautiful backdrop of Capri.
